Join volunteer docent, Sara Shoob, for an in-person tour of works by Jewish American artists. We will meet at the Smithsonian American Art Museum to view a rich collection of work by Jewish artists from the 1930s to the present. Our discussions will focus on the artists’ family influences and how their work reflected the time in which it was created. Artists will include Roy Lichtenstein, Moses and Raphael Soyer, Chaim Gross, Louise Nevelson, Miriam Schapiro and others.
