Children of Holocaust Survivors
Growing up as Children of Holocaust Survivors made us unique, different from “ordinary” American Jews. We came together at TBS to share our very “unique” experiences with each other, and to find ways to preserve the stories of our Survivor parents, and then to somehow share these stories with our TBS family in a meaningful and lasting way. We gather every few months and have all gained tremendous insight into our past by just listening to each other. Our discussion leader guides us in this journey by posing questions about our parents’ experiences during and after the Holocaust to help us explore how it shaped our lives and our interactions with others. New members are always welcome. For questions or to join, please contact Frank at CoHS@TBS-online.org.
