About Hadar Orshalimy

From biological and chemical warfare defense trainer to contemporary Jewish music artist, to singing jazz at a Barack Obama reception and performing in the UN, New York City-based Israeli musician Hadar Orshalimy has one of the most diverse and interesting career trajectories in the music business today.

As a songwriter and performing artist, Hadar has credits on more than eleven commercial releases and five placements in film and TV, most notably in the hit Netflix series “Startup” and the “The River Wild” set for release later this year.

Her critically acclaimed debut jazz album “It Never Was You – jazz by Jewish Composers,,” released in December 2019, was positively received by numerous American and Israeli media outlets inspiring her to record a follow up album titled “Witchcraft – The Jewish Women of the Great American Songbook.”
