TBS Havdallah Dinner

Save the Date: Saturday, December 11th, for Temple B'nai Shalom's Havdallah dinner.  This is a wonderful event, a great way to meet new people in the temple and to greet old friends.  In the past we have had close to 300 people participate.  We break up into groups of 8 to 12 for dinner at people's homes and then meet back at the temple for a short Havdallah service and dessert.  We hope that all adult temple members will participate in some way, as host or guest.  If you host, you do not have to prepare the entire meal, your guests will all help by bringing something to create a fabulous dinner and a wonderful atmosphere for making new friends!  If you think you would be willing to open up your home and host this truly wonderful event, please call or e-mail Julia Salpeter.

Sponsor a Brick

Have you seen our Western Wall in the Social Hall? Come a take a look, and you can sponsor a brick to support Women of the Wall...$54, $36 or $18...we are reminded, with Anat's Hoffman's arrest last week, (Director of the Israel Religious Action Center and Founder of Women of the Wall) that non-Orthodox Jews don't enjoy the same religious freedom in Israel that we do in North America. For more info, visit the URJ website at http://www.urj.org. if you are interested, please send a check to TBS or e-mail Rabbi Nyer at This e-mail address is being protected from spam bots, you need JavaScript enabled to view it
