How To Find Us
Please be careful with the new traffic patterns on 123 near the temple. The traffic has been split to its final configuration in the Old Ox and Community Lane areas, with two northbound lanes and two southbound lanes divided by a median.
Arriving NORTHBOUND on 123, note that there is NO LEFT TURN at Old Ox. You must turn left at Community Lane. If you miss the turn at Community Lane, your backup plan is to make a U-turn at Henderson.
Arriving SOUTHBOUND on 123, you can still make the right onto Old Ox.
Leaving SOUTHBOUND, you can still make the right from Old Ox onto 123.
Leaving NORTHBOUND, you can no longer make the left from Old Ox onto 123. You must make the right onto Old Ox as you come out of the parking lot, go down to Community Lane, and make the left onto 123 from Community Lane.
Again, please be careful, stay alert, and give yourself a little extra time as you adjust to the new pattern.
Directions: The closest major intersections are:
The corner of Ox Road (Route 123) and Lee Chapel Road, and
The corner of Ox Road (Route 123) and Burke Lake Road.
From the Capital Beltway:
Exit 54A (formerly Exit 5) -- Braddock Road West.
Go 1.6 miles, turn left at the light onto Burke Lake Road.
Go 4.7 miles, turn left at the light onto Ox Road (Route 123).
Go 1.6 miles, turn right onto Community Lane.
Make an immediate right onto Old Ox Road.
Make an immediate left onto the Temple's access road.
From Old Keene Mill Rd. (Rte. 644):
Go west on Old Keene Mill Rd. (Rte. 644)
Past the Shell and Exxon stations (Rolling Rd.), turn left at the 2nd traffic light and get onto Huntsman Blvd.
At the next traffic light, turn right to go west on the Fairfax County Pkwy. (Rte. 7100)
Make a left at the 2nd traffic light onto Lee Chapel Rd.
At the next traffic light, turn right onto Rte. 123 (Ox Rd.).
Look for the first left-hand turn lane (Community La.) -- and the White/Blue Temple signs-- and turn left onto Community La.
Come to the stop sign and turn right onto Old Ox Rd.
Go 0.1 miles and make a left turn into the Temple Driveway.
From I-66:
Take Exit (55A) for Fairfax County Parkway (Rte. 7100) south towards Springfield.
Stay on Parkway until you reach the exit at Rte. 123 (Ox Rd.).
Turn left onto Rte. 123 south towards Lorton.
Go 3 miles to Old Ox Rd. and turn right.
Follow White/Blue Temple signs and make a right turn into the Temple driveway.
Don't panic if you miss Old Ox Rd.. Make a right turn at the next street -- Community Lane.
Come to stop sign and turn right; go 0.1 miles and make a left turn into the Temple driveway.
From I-95 Heading North:
Take Exit 160 north on Rte. 123 (Ox Rd.) towards Lake Ridge
Pass through Lorton and Occoquan, VA
Past the light at Lee Chapel Rd., look for the first left-hand turn lane (Community La.) -- and the White/Blue Temple signs-- and turn left onto Community La.
Come to the stop sign and turn right onto Old Ox Rd.
Go 0.1 miles and make a left turn into the Temple Driveway.
From I-395 South:
Cross Capital Beltway (I-495) onto I-95 south towards Richmond.
Take the first exit (169B) for Rte. 644 west -- Springfield -- Old Keene Mill Road as soon as possible. Be VERY careful. Stay in the right-hand lane, which turns onto Brandon Ave.
Take the first left onto Bland St.
Turn left at the 2nd traffic light (crossing over on the the bridge) onto Amherst Ave., which soon becomes Backlick Rd.
After the 4th traffic light (just under 1 mile), bear right to go west on the Franconia-Springfield Pkwy. This becomes the Fairfax County Pkwy.
Stay on Parkway for about 6 miles, then make a left at the traffic light onto Lee Chapel Rd.
At the next traffic light, turn right onto Rte. 123 (Ox Rd.).
Look for the first left-hand turn lane (Community La.) -- and the White/Blue Temple signs-- and turn left onto Community La.
Come to the stop sign and turn right onto Old Ox Rd.
Go 0.1 miles and make a left turn into the Temple Driveway.
