Quick Notes and Reminds

Are you friendly?

We need animated stars to greet the congregation on Friday nights from 7:30 - 8:00 pm.  If you happen to be one of these very friendly people and can spare just 1/2 hour a few times a year, please contact Julia Salpeter.

Can You Carry a Tune?

Adult singers (anyone above bar/bat mitzvah age) are needed to participate in Adult Choir for the Erev Rosh Hashanah service (Wed., Sept. 8th).  This is a special honor in celebration of our 25th High Holy Day services.  Please contact Donna Courtney.

Sponsor a Brick

Have you seen our Western Wall in the Social Hall? Come a take a look, and you can sponsor a brick to support Women of the Wall...$54, $36 or $18...we are reminded, with Anat's Hoffman's arrest last week, (Director of the Israel Religious Action Center and Founder of Women of the Wall) that non-Orthodox Jews don't enjoy the same religious freedom in Israel that we do in North America. For more info, visit the URJ website at http://www.urj.org. if you are interested, please send a check to TBS or e-mail Rabbi Nyer at This e-mail address is being protected from spam bots, you need JavaScript enabled to view it
